back in commission.

i just got back from a venture to the western states. i'll spare you a lengthy, wordy post and go straight to the best part--pictures!!

i got a few pictures with my little digital, but mostly relied on a borrowed minolta 700x--a 35mm manual [with semi-auto shutter settings]! i'd never used a manual before. all of a sudden the feel of winding the film and the obnoxiously loud click of the shutter seem so much more 'real' than any digital. i absolutely love it. unfortunately she'll have to go back to her owner in a couple of weeks :(

my film is getting developed tomorrow [hopefully]. in the meantime, i have a few of the cheap digital shots up for your viewing pleasure [and to satisfy my flickr addiction]. enjoy!
